When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped!
What we know: 3 siblings transferred at approximately 1 year, 3 months old from Finney County Humane Society in Kansas (1M, 2F). Siblings were surrendered to the KS shelter in March 2025 and had still not been adopted through them by January 2026. They were set to be euthanized due to length of stay and were tagged to come to CPR the following day.
From the foster: Meet Peppermint Patty! Like the eponymous cartoon character, she's a spunky, freckle-faced girl who is doggedly loyal. After nearly a year in a shelter, Patty is quickly adjusting to life with a family. She's good with other dogs and good with kids, but she would do best with kids who are stable on their feet because she's still exploring the world paws-first. She's making progress with potty training. She sleeps all night in her crate. She's not sure about the leash yet, and needs to wear a harness so she doesn't slip out of her collar when on the leash. She has learned how to use the doggy door, and she needs a home with a fenced yard so she can go out and play throughout the day.
