Ellie is a gorgeous 1 year old female dog. We believe her to be a shepherd or malinois mix. She currently weighs about 40 pounds and is fully grown.

Ellie was abandoned in rural Texas. Either prior to being abandoned or while living on her own her rear leg was severely injured. After being picked up by animal control and being brought to the shelter, she received the amputation she desperately needed. She has now healed, gained weight, and is ready to be adopted!

She gets along well with other dogs and she loves people of all ages. She is high energy- she doesn't let one less leg get her down! She would love an active family who will train her to her full potential!

She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and health certificate from a veterinary examination which certifies her to be in good condition.

Her adoption fee is $400, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee.
