Meet yam the perfect pittie puppy

Yam is an adorable 3 month old female puppy. We anticipate her to be medium size when fully grown. She has a beautiful black coat.

Yam was found, along with her mom and littermates, living underneath a trailer at a solar farm in rural Texas. Local rescuers built up mom's trust by feeding regularly, and thankfully were able to trap mom and crawl under the trailer to rescue the babies. Yam, her littermates and her mom are now well fed, warm, and healthy.

Yam loves people and plays well with other dogs. She loves to curl up with foster family for a nap after a play session. She is potty trained in her foster home, but her forever family should be prepared to do more training while she learns the routine in her new home.

She is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and she comes with her medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies her to be in good condition.

Her adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. We use those funds to support our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south eastern Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis.
