Meet bruno
Bruno is a seven-year-old, 75-pound lab mix that was surrendered to the shelter due to the owner's health. Seems that the dog's health was in question, too, as Bruno was the picture of neglect. Described at intake as scabby and dirty, he had a raging, painful ear infection, was missing large patches of hair on his back, and was missing most of his tail. On the first night, he was nervous and paced around, but as soon as the foster put the dog bed next to his, he went straight to sleep. The next day he was taken to the vet to have his ears looked at, and discovered that he was in intense pain, which was likely what was making him anxious and whiney. Bruno has a new lease on life and has settled in, making himself at home. He is your typical easy senior, who loves to just hang out or go for walks.
