Meet ruby
Ruby is an eight-year-old, 78-pound black lab mix. Ruby appears to have had a loving home at one time because she knows commands like sit, speak, shake, and can catch treats in the air! Ruby gets along great with the foster’s 16-pound dog, is housetrained, and loves car rides, walks, and running after tennis balls. Ruby is very smart, and she uses her paw to ask for permission to do things. Ruby loves her people and will curl up on the floor at your feet. Ruby does not like to be crated, so they only leave her for short periods. They think she would probably be ok left out, as she sleeps on a dog bed at night and does fine. Ruby loves to eat! She probably could lose a little weight, but she loves walking, so that should help. Ruby has met one other dog in our neighborhood and a cat, and seemed fine with both.
