Meet lily

Cute and sweet but also sad is lovely Lily, who has come into rescue a few years after being adopted. Why she has surrendered is a mystery because she is a very lovely girl who deserves a better fate.Lily is a mixed breed of canine of 4 years old and 48 pounds. She has a black coat and adorable ears that seem to be at attention most of the time. Dogs and children are excellent companions to help Lily regain her spirit and spunk. She has exhibited an acceptance of cats while in her foster home so Lily can befriend pretty much everyone. Lily is a work in progress when learning her leash manners, but she is ahead of the game with her house and crate training. She has mastered each sill and is looking forward to showing her family just how it is done. Although she is housetrained, accidents can occur as they become accustomed to a new home, family and routines. The best way to describe Lily is that she prefers to be a spectator in life rather than living in the fast lane. She has a lower energy level than most other dogs but that does not make her any less special. She will still benefit from daily walks to stretch her legs and take in her surroundings. Plus, it is great motivation to get out of the house and take in the sights of the outdoors. The added bonus it provides a great opportunity to bond with her. Plus, her family can look forward to a loving companion when relaxing indoors or out. It may never be known why Lily came back for a second adoption, but whoever gives Lily a second chance at happiness will be richly rewarded with a forever friend who just wants to be loved.* When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Lily is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
