Ariat Needs a Foster or Adopter by 1/17/26 to Secure Her Ride to Wisconsin

Ariat is currently in a Georgia kill shelter and must have a foster or adopter to secure her spot
on the transport truck to Cedarburg, WI with Mutt Life Dog Rescue. Without a home
commitment, she won’t be able to make the trip.

Meet Ariat

Ariat’s story is one of survival, strength, and finally getting the chance she deserves. This
roughly 5-year-old mixed-breed girl has endured far too much in her life and is now ready for a
fresh start filled with safety, love, and stability.

Ariat was surrendered to the shelter along with her four puppies as part of a severe neglect
case. The individuals involved were charged with cruelty to both children and animals, and the
dogs were living in filthy conditions. The shelter was informed that this was Ariat’s fourth litter of
puppies. Despite the hardship she endured, Ariat has remained incredibly gentle, loving, and
trusting.

Now spayed, Ariat will never have to go through another pregnancy again. She can finally focus
on being cared for instead of caring for others. Shelter staff describe her as super sweet, calm,
and affectionate, with a wonderful, easygoing nature.

Ariat is great with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her an excellent fit for many types of
homes. She has a kind, nurturing soul and would love nothing more than to be a cherished
family companion. She currently weighs about 42 pounds and has so much love left to give.

She will be available to travel on Saturday, 1/17/26, but needs a foster or adopter to make that
possible.
