Meet autumn
Autumn was found abandoned in my friend's neighborhood October 2025. This was the same place where my German Shepherd was abandoned in 2020. Autumn was terrified, barked continously, and hid in the bushes.
We won her trust with meat and scratches. She climbed into the can and would not get off us. My friend named her Autumn the velcro dog.
She went immediately to our veterinarian for vaccination and heart worm testing. Her estimated age was 2 years. She was started on the slow kill treatment for heartworm which postponed the spaying.
Autumn stayed in a foster home until the Akita got jealous. She was moved to U Dirty Dog for boarding over the holidays. I visit her daily for leash walks and socialization. Autumn is very smart and gets along with dogs of all sizes. She has been to farmer's markets, Home Deport, Pet stores etc. Autumn is very social with no signs of aggression. She would make a great hiking or hunting dog. She is nice on the leash.
