Sherry Baby is the happiest, smiliest girl! She's what we call "shmedium", not quite small, but about as small as medium gets! She may have been out on the streets of Chicago before ending up at Chicago Animal Care and Control, but we knew she was destined for the sweet life, so we brought her to Heartland!

Sherry has been spending the holiday season with a wonderful foster family, who really wanted to adopt her. Unfortunately, they've discovered one of their children is allergic, so while they are unable to keep her permanently, they expressed so much love for her, and want to help her find her perfect home. They provided some adorable photos of Sherry at home, and told us this about her:

"Sherry is a sweetheart who will flop onto her back for belly rubs and snuggle up next to you. She has a lot of energy and loves long walks and chasing a ball in the yard. She got along well with her foster family’s two young children (ages 3 and 6), including not being bothered by loud/sudden noises and accepting treats from them gently. Sherry has a lot of love to give!"

Sherry had just a couple of pee accidents in the house before quickly getting the hang of going potty outside in the yard or on leash. She quickly mastered "Sit," is working on "Down" but the sky is the limit for this super smart and treat motivated girl!

Sherry Baby's adoption fee is $300. This animal is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and Heartworm negative.
