  Chunky Monkey Sunkiss is a tender-hearted puppy with a soft soul and a future full of promise. Born October 23 to a Lab mix mom and Heeler dad, Sunkiss began life surrounded by her siblings in a quiet country setting where her mom was safely cared for while raising her litter. Now, at 8 weeks old, she’s ready to take her next step — finding a family of her own. Sunkiss is a gentle snuggle girl at heart. While she enjoys playful moments with her siblings and does wonderfully with children, her favorite place is close to her people, soaking up love and reassurance. She has a calm, sweet nature that simply asks for patience, kindness, and guidance as she grows. She’s expected to be around 70 pounds when grown and will be a stunning adult with her pale yellow coat, white socks, and freckled face. Beneath her beauty is a sensitive, intelligent puppy who will thrive with positive training, routine, and trust-building — the kind of dog who bonds deeply and becomes a true family companion. Critter Cavalry Rescue is looking for adopters who understand the commitment of raising a puppy and are excited to invest in her future through walks, play, social experiences, and loving structure. Sunkiss will be ready to go home on January 17.
