But more than anything, she wants a heart to anchor to.  Because of her past, she takes time to trust, and she’s selective with some dogs — especially those with dominant personalities. She’s done well with older or submissive male dogs and could also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. She just needs a home that’s calm, structured, and full of love.
