FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED
Meet Poe!
Poe is a 2-year-old, 42 lb Australian Shepherd / Bernese Mountain Dog mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. He’s a sweet, affectionate, goofy boy with a big personality and an even bigger heart!
Poe arrived to us on the thin side, and we’re working on helping him fill out—he’ll gain a bit more strength as he continues to settle in, but he is fully grown. He is very strong, active, and enthusiastic, and can be mouthy and jumpy when excited, so we’re looking for a home with no young children.
He does well with other dogs and prefers slow introductions, especially with larger male dogs, and will need proper decompression time after shelter life. Poe would thrive in an active home with herding or working-breed experience—someone who understands the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation.
Poe is looking for adopters who will give him structure, training, and an active, engaging lifestyle where he can truly shine. With the right guidance and routine, he’ll make a loyal, fun-loving companion for the right home!
Poe is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.
