Meet Mia đ
Mia is a guessed 6-month-old chocolate Lab mix who recently found her way back to us through no fault of her own. As she started to grow, her previous adopters realized she was getting bigger than they were comfortable with. Unfortunately, Mia doesnât understand why she was returnedâshe only knows that her world changed again.
Mia is a very sweet, gentle girl, but sheâs naturally timid, and the shelter environment is overwhelming for her. Loud noises, constant activity, and unfamiliar routines can be scary for a sensitive puppy whoâs still learning how the world works. Even so, her kind heart shines through, and sheâs more than ready to find the family who will help her feel safe and secure.
She is still very much a puppy and truly a blank slate. Mia will need all the foundational skills that come with raising a young dog:
⢠House training
⢠Crate training
⢠Basic manners and leash skills
⢠Consistent routines and structure
⢠Confidence-building through positive reinforcement, patience, and gentle guidance
Mia hasnât had the chance yet to learn what it means to be someoneâs lifelong companionâbut that also means she comes without bad habits, just lots of potential. With time, consistency, and love, she will blossom into a loyal, loving, and confident dog.
