Meet fred
Fred is a 3.5 year old Golden Retriever mix.
He only weighs 32 lbs, so he is mixed with a smaller breed, but we haven't been able to figure out what smaller breed. Foster mom says that Fred is the cutest, sweetest boy you will ever meet. Something or someone in his past has made Fred shy and untrusting. He needs adopters who will be patient and give him time to settle in and know he is safe, and it will be such a rewarding feeling to watch him gain confidence and understand that he has people who love and care for him. He loves to run and play with other dogs, so he would love to have a friendly playmate. He has great leash manners but he is still learning to enjoying car rides. Fred loves to snuggle with his fosters, in bed or on the couch or on their feet! Fred hasn't been around kids, but he is so gentle that we think he will be great with kids over the age of 6, or probably even younger.
