Meet kumquat citrus
This cutie is Kumquat Citrus. He is currently 5 months old and weighs approximately 25 pounds. We think he may be a Pit Bull or Lab Retriever mix, but with rescue it is always a guess. What matters most is that he is absolutely adorable and one of the most at-risk puppies in the entire US based on statistics from where he is from. Shelters in this area are being forced to euthanize puppies, which means this baby truly needs you. Choosing a puppy from us saves their life and the life of another dog in their place.

Kumquat is playful, sweet, curious, and incredibly cuddly. He is a true social butterfly who loves everyone he meets and thrives on companionship. He is excellent at fetch and would happily play until it is time to curl up for snuggles. Kumquat lives with three cats and does wonderfully with them. He knows sit and wait, is crate trained, potty trained, and has been a joy to have in his foster home. He would love a home with outdoor space where he can play, explore, and soak up the sun during his favorite sunbathing sessions.
We pride ourselves on providing detailed personality and behavior information to help ensure the right match for both our dogs and our adopters. You are also welcome to schedule a FaceTime call to meet Kumquat before signing paperwork.
Kumquat is still young and will need a family committed to continued training, socialization, and the time and patience puppyhood requires. Puppies are discovering the world and shaping their personalities every day. Consistent routine, structure, boundaries, and positive social experiences are key to raising a confident, well-rounded adult dog. We do require adopters to continue crate training upon arrival home, as it supports potty training, energy management, and long-term success.
Kumquat is ready to bring joy, laughter, and endless kisses into his forever home.
