Meet ryland
Ryland is a four-year-old, 62-pound lab mix that was picked up by a shelter in January, adopted in May, and returned within days. The reason was that it didn't meet expectations. Well, we're not sure what they were looking for or comparing him to, but we think they're out of their minds! Ryland is a great dog that continues to get better all the time. He is a sweet and confident dog that gets along well with people, other dogs, and cats. He is good on a leash and takes treats gently. What more could you want? FROM THE FOSTER: Ryland is very smart and affectionate, and he is food motivated and eager to please. Ryland loves to entertain himself with toys, and and is really good at fetch. Ryland has energy, but he also knows how to settle down and relax. He gets along very well with dogs in the same house, one of which is blind, however, he needs a proper introduction to other dogs. Ryland does very well on leash, but can get barky with some dogs. He is very receptive and making progress in his current training with the foster. Ryland would thrive in a home where he can receive quality one-on-one time and continue building on the foundation he’s started.
