Meet puppy boone

A Message From Boone — Your Milk-Chocolate Tennessee Boy   Hi there, I’m Boone! I was born on July 4th in a little rural Tennessee town, and my foster mom says I’m as “sweet as milk chocolate” thanks to my Lab momma (a gorgeous dark chocolate girl) and my Australian Shepherd daddy. Somehow, I ended up looking like the best mix of both—soft, sweet, and full of love.  I’m still a little guy at about 15 pounds, but I’m making up for lost time. Before coming to my foster home, I didn’t have much room to grow or explore—I spent my early life mostly in a tub and then a crate and really didn't have enough food to nourish my growing puppy body. Now that I have space to run, play, learn, and be a well-fed and loved puppy, I’m soaking it all in. Foster mom says watching me discover the world has been one of her favorite things. As I grow, I’ll likely reach around 50 pounds, with long, soft fur that will be absolutely beautiful once I’m fully grown. Right now, I’m focusing on good food, building healthy muscles, and learning what love and attention really feel like—and oh boy, do I love it.    My dream home?A family that has time to show me how great life can be. A fenced yard to zoom around in, and maybe some kids to grow up with. Another dog would be amazing—I am learning lots from the adult dogs here in my foster home.  I would love to have parents who love training a smart pup  like me and because I am smart. I really do want to learn everything I can. I’ve started crate training, and I’m doing great with that. Leashes are still a bit confusing, but my foster mom says I’m trying so hard, and with gentle teaching I’ll soon realize walks are one of life’s best adventures.   I’ll be ready to go home beginning December 12th—just in time to curl up under someone’s Christmas tree and wait for Santa with my new family. My foster parents take wonderful care of me, but I know my real home is out there. I’m hoping my next car ride will be the one that takes me to my forever family—the one who will treat me like their little prince. If that sounds like you, please reach out to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. I’ve got Christmas kisses ready and waiting.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 11, 2025, 7:13 pm
