Meet Gabriel
5–6 years old | 12 lbs | Arriving in Morristown, NJ December 28th
Say hello to Gabriel — a small pup with a big personality just waiting to come out. He was rescued by The Sato Project from a heartbreaking hoarding case in Manatí, Puerto Rico, where he lived in a cramped home with more than 30 other dogs. His early life lacked stability, safety, and human kindness — but now, Gabriel has a second chance.
After receiving medical care and lots of TLC, Gabriel is now healthy and preparing to fly to Morristown, NJ to find the home he’s always deserved.
Gabriel is very shy and timid with new people — he’s not the type to warm up right away. But behind those cautious eyes is a spicy little spirit who’s full of personality once he starts to feel safe. He’ll need a patient, dog-savvy home where he can go at his own pace, without pressure. A quiet environment, ideally with another gentle dog, could help him feel more confident.
Gabriel may not be the “instant best friend” kind of dog — but for the right person, he’ll be an incredibly rewarding companion full of charm and character.
