Hailey is a sweetheart through and through—an affectionate, happy girl who was found by a Good Samaritan on their way home from work. From the moment she arrived, she’s been melting hearts with her gentle spirit and joyful personality.

When you approach her kennel, Hailey greets you with the cutest upside-down glance and a wagging tail, ready for love. She’s easy to leash and heads out happily, sometimes doing little excited hops as she walks.

In the interaction room, Hailey’s personality truly shines. She loves to jump up to say hello, offer adorable play bows, and engage in playful, gentle roughhousing. She’s incredibly affectionate—she’ll nuzzle her snout into you, sniff deeply while snuggled in your arms, and give sweet kisses. Head pets, belly rubs, ear scratches—you name it, she adores it. She even groans with happiness when you rub her soft little face.

Hailey knows “sit” and takes treats with enthusiasm (sometimes a bit too enthusiastically!). She enjoys playtime, loves spending time with her people, and walks back into her kennel easily when it’s time to settle down.

Her finder described her as friendly, cuddly, shy, and scared—so she may need a little patience at first. But once she warms up, she’s pure love.

Behavior Notes:
Volunteer 12/3/25: She’s not as grumpy as she looks. In fact , she is very happy and sweet . Easy in and out of kennel. Undisturbed going through aisles . Once outside , she went to the bathroom immediately . We just stayed in the yard. She wasn’t interested in toys but she was very interested in just sitting in the sun and watching birds. I didn’t try treats as she was scheduled for spay later that day. No opportunity for dog interaction . She’s just a sweet sweet girl.

Kennel Presentation: Hailey was on the backside for cleaning. she looked at me upside down with a wagging tail. she was easy to secure and came right out

Leash Skills: pulls minimally - hops in the air

Sociability: In the room hailey jumped all over me with excitement. she did some cute play bows and engaged in some rough but still gentle play. She allowed all handling and liked to push her snout into you. she sniffed deeply in my arms and licked all over. she is a very affectionate and sweet girl, allowing head pets to feet pets. she knows sit and takes treats a bit snatchy sometimes. I loved rubbing her ear sand super soft face as she groaned in enjoyment.
