Meet Drew! A happy, affectionate boy who strikes the perfect balance between playful fun and snuggly sidekick. He enjoys staying active and having a good time but keeps it easy-going, and when it’s time to unwind, he’s happiest curled up right next to his people.Drew walks nicely on leash, making neighborhood strolls easy and enjoyable. Drew appears to be potty trained and already knows some great basics like sit, paw, and lay down. He is a smart boy who loves to learn! He does well in his crate and settles in comfortably.During a recent sleepover, Drew showed promising potential with cats and, with proper introductions, could do well in a home with feline friends. He’s affectionate, eager to please, and ready to keep building on his good manners with his future family.Drew did test positive for heartworm disease upon arrival, but the good news is that it’s treatable, and the cost of his treatment is covered thanks to Friends of City Dogs Cleveland. He’ll just need a calm, loving home where he can rest and recover during treatment before returning to normal dog activities.
