Meet trigger
Trigger is a seven-year-old, 60-pound purebred English lab that was rescued from a breeder, who retired him years ago, along with 13 other dogs, and relegated them to concrete kennels, behind a fenced enclosure, where they were basically abandoned. Trigger and the others were dying a slow death from heartworms until a neighbor found a dog that had escaped and discovered the horror show behind the fence at the top of the hill. Trigger is in a home now and has acclimated beautifully. He is good with other dogs, kids, and even cats. In his previous life, his meals were thrown on the ground, and it took a while for him to eat from a bowl. Trigger is ready for his new life and will be an excellent companion.
