Name: Acorn

Acorn is still in a shelter and needs a foster or foster-to-adopt ASAP. He has been in the shelter for over a month and urgently needs out.
Acorn is a medium sized shepherd type mix found out and about on his own as a stray with no one coming forward to claim him. Whoever lost this guy lost a treasure. After an initial round of nervousness from being in puppy prison, he shed the shyness and made fast friends with everyone. Acorn is good with other dogs though if they come on too strong he is initially a bit overwhelmed. He appears to be housetrained, crates nicely and quietly, and knows a few basics. His leash manners are a work in progress but he’s eager to learn and responds so well to training. Acorn deserves so much more than shelter life and would love to move back into a home.
Requirements: No special requirements
Adoption Fee: $500 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 6 months of age, deworming, microchip and current preventatives
