Diego is extremely handsome and has the most stunning mask! He is a Northern Inuit. He’s an awesome family dog but requires a savvy owner committed to providing structure. There’s something sweet and pure and about his energy.
Diego is :
💙 Great on walks- doesn’t pull on the leash, not reactive
💙 Dog-friendly- both with large & small dogs
💙 Not a fence jumper or natural-born runner
💙 LOVES children
💙 Not a resource guarder
💙 Great passenger in the car
💙 Medium energy
💙 Quiet work companion.
💙 No cats
💙 Very tolerant with no aggression towards humans or dogs
💙 Would be a great dog park or doggie daycare dog
💙 Diego has separation anxiety (He hates being alone.) This is common for his breed! For this reason, we require that he be in a home with other dogs. He’s done great with his fosters’ 8 lb dog being left alone.
The ideal home for Diego would be someone who lives in a house, works from home or an active retiree, and is willing to be patient.
