He and his brother Steve came from a home where their family became overwhelmed caring for several dogs. Despite that, Peanut’s cheerful personality and eagerness to connect have shined through from day one.Peanut is crate and leash trained, and he loves going for walks—sniffing, exploring, and taking in all the new sights. He’s an absolute delight on leash and responds beautifully to positive reinforcement. Peanut tries so hard to remember his manners, often sitting politely when greeting people even though his excitement to say hello can make him wiggly.He’s a social, happy dog who enjoys people and shows polite curiosity toward other dogs. Since he’s just been neutered and hasn’t had much opportunity to meet new dogs yet, any introductions should be calm and structured—but his friendly nature suggests he’ll enjoy having canine friends in time.Peanut will thrive in a home that provides consistency, gentle guidance, and plenty of opportunities to explore and play.
