Meet Captain Blue — a little dog with a big heart and an even bigger story.  At just 2 years old and 15 pounds, this stunning Miniature Australian Shepherd has already experienced more than most. Captain Blue came from an overcrowded breeder situation in rural Tennessee, where over 200 dogs lived on a single property with very little human contact or kindness. Thankfully, when authorities stepped in, Critter Cavalry Rescue took 15 of those dogs — and one of them was Captain Blue. Now in a loving foster home, Captain Blue is discovering what it truly means to be safe, cared for, and loved. He’s gentle, good with other dogs and even cats, and every day he takes another brave step toward trusting people. With patience and compassion, he’s learning that human touch means comfort, not fear. Captain Blue is a sweet work in progress — a beautiful soul waiting for the right person or family to continue showing him how wonderful life can be.
