Meet luke
Luke's story is a long one. Luke had been consistently roaming his neighborhood for months to the point that everyone thought he was a reclusive stray. Every time we responded to a call that he was out, we could never find him. When we were finally able to catch him and bring him back to the shelter, he was left unclaimed.
Luke had been living in a home with quite a few of younger kids, though we do not know how he truly is with kids.
Here's what we do know:
He's lived a very sheltered life and is not doing well in the shelter environment. He's very stressed. Luke seems to be somewhat dog selective so as of right now, would do best in a foster/adoptive home with no other animals. We will continue to further evaluate him with other dogs. He does seem to be mostly potty trained, as he will have an occasional accident. Other than that, Luke is very affectionate with the people that he knows, and loves to snuggle or play with them.
