Meet Camden (aka Blue)
Born August 14, 2025, Camden is a Labrador Retriever mix with a friendly, outgoing personality. Known as “Blue” by his handlers in the STAR Inmate Training Program, he is a large, gentle dog with a soft, glossy coat.
Camden is affectionate and playful, and he enjoys spending time with people. He plays well with other dogs, including his brother Rowdy, and is also confident exploring on his own. He may be slightly timid in new environments but adjusts quickly and becomes comfortable with new people.
Camden is house trained, crate trained, and a graduate of the STAR Inmate Training Program, where he learned basic obedience skills. He gets along well with other dogs and would do best in an active home that can meet his medium to high energy needs.
Camden has not harmed cats but shows strong interest in them and may chase, so a cat-free home or one with experienced management is recommended.
Camden would make a loyal and loving companion for a family prepared to provide structure, activity, and continued training.
