Meet dyno

Since I'm a long stay pup, my adoption fee has been reduced! Visit me today to find out my favorite treats and how you can take me home! Dyno is a high-energy and eager learner participating in our Shelter Scholars program, where he's working on improving his on-leash reactivity. With targeted training exercises and consistent redirection, he's learning to stay calm and respond to cues even when distractions are present. Dyno's enthusiasm is turning into thoughtful focus with every walk.Meet Dyno!Surrendered to ACC, Dyno has shown himself to be a bright, eager learner who loves being near his people. He soaks up praise, enjoys enrichment games, and settles nicely once he understands the routine. My Ideal HomeI'll thrive with experienced adopters who enjoy training and structure. A calm, adult household that can help me build confidence, practice predictable routines, and give me daily outlets for my brain and body will help me be my best self.Good with Kids?Best in an adults-only home. I can be sensitive to handling and need slow, thoughtful introductions, so no children under 13 for me right now.Good with Other Pets?In a prior home I reportedly lived with other large dogs and could be relaxed and playful. In the care center I've shown mixed reactions at the gate. I'd do best as the only dog to start, or with very slow, well-managed introductions to a calm, compatible dog. No known cat history.Leash MannersI'm strong and can pull when excited, especially around dogs or new sights. I'm responding well to reward-based games (engage/disengage, "1-2-3," check-ins) and settle into a looser leash with coaching. A front-clip harness and consistent positive reinforcement will set me up for success.Overall HealthHealthy overall. I recovered from a routine upper-respiratory bug earlier in my stay and I'm feeling good now. Neutered and ready for my next chapter.Behavior DeterminationLevel 3 - Adults Only: I warm up with treats and time, but can be handling-sensitive and may get over-aroused on leash. I'll thrive with patient adopters who use positive reinforcement, give me choice and space, and help me practice calm behaviors.Other Fun FactsI lean in for scritches, offer sits to "ask nicely," and love puzzle feeders and sniffari walks. I'm equal parts athlete and cuddle bug-looking for a teammate to keep me smart, busy, and loved. Primary Color: Bronze Weight: 76 Age: 2yrs 4mths 0wks
