Snoop is a young adult German Shepherd who hasn’t had an easy time of things lately but he is holding out hope that his luck is going to change now that he is in rescue. He is looking for a forever home who will be patient with him. After being left by his owner alone in a house for a lengthy time he gets quite anxious when his people leave him. He is doing so much better at his foster with training and time but there will absolutely be an adjustment period into a new home and his forever home should be ready for patience and training. Snoop is good with other dogs but he does need some boundaries set off the bat about sharing his people with another dog. At first in his foster if another dog approached when he was with his people or getting attention he would show resource guarding behaviors towards the other dogs. With training and firm boundaries this dissipated easily, but again we do expect an adjustment period in a new home. He has never once shown any guarding behaviors from people. He should not be placed in a home with cats. Snoop is housetrained, crates well, and does well minding his manners in the house as long as his energy is burned out. Snoop needs some extra patience and training at first but this boy is so worth it. He is the most kind hearted, loyal guy you could ask for.


Requirements: Experienced, patient home. No cats

Adoption Fee: $500 + tax. This includes neuter/spay, current vaccinations as age appropriate, heartworm/tick testing in dogs over 6 months of age, deworming, microchip and current preventatives
