Meet birdie
Meet Birdie - Deaf Senior Sweetie
This 12-year-old is one of the sweetest senior dogs around! She's a resident of EP shelter.
She is deaf, and is just finishing up some meds for a skin infection. She's got some limps and bumps, but our vet tells us they are nothing to cause worry.
She LOVES tennis balls, even if she can't catch them on the first try! She happily gives them back for another throw.
She would probably do best in an adult only home, we are not sure how well her sight is in one of her eyes, and being deaf, we don't want her to be startled.
