 Meet Jewel – A True Treasure Waiting for Her Forever Home  Some names are chosen, but others are earned—and this little girl earned hers from day one. At just 4 months old and 19 pounds, Jewel has already shown everyone that she is exactly what her name promises: a rare and beautiful treasure that simply SPARKLES! &#226&#156&#168 Until recently, Jewel’s world was heartbreakingly small. Alongside her six siblings, she spent her early months in a red clay dirt pen with nothing to do but exist. No toys. No soft beds. No adventures. Just waiting for love and attention. Thankfully on August 17th, everything changed for Jewel and her siblings.  They were all rescued by Critter Cavalry and placed in loving foster homes where they are finally learning what it means to be cherished. As for Jewel? She is absolutely blossoming. Now she has toys to chase, people to cuddle, and a safe fenced yard to zoom around in—her favorite pastime is showing off just how fast those puppy legs can go! She is thriving with her foster family, learning crate training, how to stick to a potty routine, and even how to ride in a car to explore a big, exciting world she never knew existed. Jewel’s personality shines just as bright as her name: Great with children Playful and full of joy Ready to learn, explore, and love with her whole heart We expect this Lab mix sweetheart to grow into a wonderful medium-sized companion—perfect for a family looking for a loyal adventure buddy and snuggle partner all in one.
