Meet Nala – Ready for Her Fresh Start

Nala is a 3 ½-year-old Black Mouth Cur/Basenji mix with a heart as sweet as her gentle spirit. Her journey hasn’t been an easy one—she was found as a pregnant stray, and despite the challenges, she devoted herself to raising her puppies with love and care. Now that her little ones are grown, it’s finally Nala’s turn to shine and experience what it means to be the one who’s cherished.

This beautiful girl is fully vetted—spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and kept on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention—so she’s ready to step into her forever home. She is both kennel trained and potty trained, which makes her an easy fit into a new routine. Nala also walks nicely on a leash and rides well in the car when kenneled, making outings and adventures with her a pleasure.

Nala’s personality is a mix of sweetness and playfulness. She loves to play, enjoys attention, and thrives when she’s at the center of her family’s world. With her soulful eyes and quiet charm, she’s the kind of companion who will be devoted and loyal once trust is built.

Her perfect home would not have small children, as her enthusiasm and playful energy could easily knock them over. She blossoms in a calm and structured environment and is ready to pour her love into the people who open their hearts to her.
