Meet Sammy — 75 lbs of charm, heart, and goofy fun! At 2.5 years old, Sammy is a lovable, food-motivated goofball with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Watermelon and apples are his absolute favorites, and he’s been known to stash a snack or two in his jowls just in case dessert is delayed. He has the perfect mix of playful zoomies and professional lounging skills and loves parading his toys like prized possessions. Sammy is snuggly, patient, and full of personality, always ready to make you laugh or melt your heart with his soulful eyes. He is crate trained, house trained, and medium energy, though he is still brushing up on his leash manners and can be strong on leash—he learns quickly, especially when treats are involved.
Sammy needs a home with a yard where he can exercise, burn off energy, and continue his training. He has lived with other dogs before, and with slow, proper introductions, we do believe he can successfully live with another dog. We are looking for a committed foster or adopter who can provide structure, ongoing training, and healthy outlets for Sammy’s energy so he can continue to thrive.
