Meet nia
Nia is thriving in a foster home with two other social dogs, and she is such a happy girl. She LOVES dogs and loves to play and feels most comfortable with her canine friends.
She is a little shy when she first meets people, not unfriendly, just nervous. That said, it does not take long for her to fall in love with people, especially when she is with her dog friends or the humans she trusts. Being with her crew makes her more confident, and she would absolutely do best in a home with another dog.
An adopter will want to give her some time and a quiet home to settle in to but, once she knows they are her people, she will be such a happy and fun-loving girl with them. She's already formed a bond with her fosters.
Nia would feel best in an adult-only home because she was so under-socialized as a puppy and is could be a flight risk if she were to get spooked or went outside without a leash. She bonds with people strongly, if they take it slow and are patient.
When she's feeling happy (which is often), Nia tends to vocalize her joy. So, that might be a little loud for neighbors in an apartment setting. For that reason, she'd probably do best in a single family home.
