Meet mordecai
The short of it is that Mordecai is an older dog, about 14 years. I suspect he has at least another 5 years. He is smart, caring and deserves to live out his days with grace. Mordecai has struggled with me through years of mental illness, and he deserves so much more than I can give him. My mental health has not changed, but my time away from the house has. He is by himself for 12 hrs a day. We are looking for someone who will be available to care for Mordecai as he ages and requires more care. He is mobile (though with stiff hips) and he does not have health issues, just an old dog.
