Meet toast
We are looking for a new home for Toast, our 5-year-old neutered male French Bulldog. We originally took him in from a travel nurse, as he was previously being left alone in an apartment for 12–18 hours at a time.
Overall, Toast is healthy, active, and has a great demeanor with a lot of wonderful qualities, but he has a few needs that we are currently unable to meet:
The Good:
- Affectionate: He is a complete lover who just wants "his person" and craves more dedicated attention than we can currently provide.
- Good with Family & Dogs: He is great with our family and gets along well with our two other Frenchies (ages 12+ and 7 months) with no food aggression or issues.
- Active & Playful: He loves his toys and is active—he even runs alongside my daughter's ATV.
Challenges & Needs:
- Separation Anxiety: Because of his background, he struggles when left alone for extended periods and may mark/pee on the floor.
- Territorial Behavior: He recently charged at a delivery perso
