Meet gertrude
Gertrude is 1 year and 5 months old. He is a very energetic, adventurous boy who absolutely loves being in the mountains! He is the best hiking pal, and does amazing when camping. He knows many fun tricks, but has not learned how to be friends with other dogs just yet. He does have moderate- severe reactivity when on leash, but has done well when introduced to other dogs in closed settings (dog park, friends homes, and visitor dogs). He would thrive with an experienced adopter who has the time/resources to help him excel on leash. He is a very active boy, and still manages to zoomie and fetch after 10+ mile hikes, so he will definitely need an active lifestyle to keep his energy (and attitude) at bay. He loves to be the center of attention and likes to have company. His favorite games are fetch and tug of war, and he loves his chews. He is a smart boy who loves to learn new tricks!
