sailor

(DOB 08/17/2026) Due to Sailor’s young age, he has not been neutered yet. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within a 1-hour drive time of Wake Forest NC).

Life is never boring with a puppy around! This little one is full of energy, curiosity, and playful puppy antics. Whether it's chasing toys, exploring new things, wrestling with a furry friend, or finding a cozy spot for a nap after a busy day, there's always something fun happening.

This pup thrives on companionship and will need a home with another young, playful, friendly dog to help keep up with all that puppy energy. Having a canine buddy to play with, learn from, and grow alongside is an important part of this little one's happiness and development.

Like any young pup, there's still lots to learn! House training and leash walking are works in progress, so patience, consistency, and plenty of positive encouragement will go a long way. This puppy is just getting started on life's adventures and will need a family ready to help build good habits and continue learning along the way.

A playful canine companion, a loving family, and plenty of opportunities to explore, learn, and grow are just what this little one needs. If you're ready for puppy kisses, happy zoomies, silly antics, and all the love that comes with raising a young dog, this cutie is ready to meet you!

As part of Sailor’s $325 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required. The deposit will be returned once the puppy is altered. If you have questions about this sweet boy, you can email: Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org. If you wish to adopt Sailor, you can complete an application online for his under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website: www.pawsforlifenc.org.
