A Beautiful Australian Shepherd Looking for Her Forever Home!

Say hello to Luna, a gorgeous 2-year-old purebred Australian Shepherd with so much love to give! This beautiful girl is searching for a patient, understanding family who will give her the opportunity to feel safe, build trust, and show off her wonderful personality!

We want to be upfront about one important thing with Luna. She can be reactive when meeting new people. New faces and unfamiliar situations can make her nervous, and she may initially react out of fear or uncertainty. Because of this, Luna needs slow, controlled introductions and someone who understands the importance of giving her a little space and time to adjust.

The good news? After just a few minutes, once Luna realizes you're a friend, she typically settles down and warms up! And once she knows you, she's a completely different dog! Luna is fun-loving, playful, affectionate, and full of personality. She just needs someone willing to look past those first few nervous moments to discover the amazing dog underneath.  Once is is in a home where she is socialized, she will be fine!

Luna would do best with a family that understands her initial reactivity and is willing to be patient and consistent with introductions. A home with a yard would be wonderful, but she would also be happy with someone who enjoys regular walks, outdoor activities, and spending quality time with their dog.

Luna isn't a dog who will necessarily run up and greet everyone with a wagging tail right away, and that's okay! She needs a family who understands that her initial reaction doesn't define who she truly is.

Once Luna feels comfortable, you'll see just how sweet, silly, and loving this beautiful girl can be. With patience, understanding, and the right environment, she has so much love and companionship to offer.
