Meet Bruiser!This little old man is looking for a quiet place to spend the rest of his golden years with. At 16, he found himself in a rescue through no fault of his own and is hoping for a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time.He will do best in an adult-only home with a secure fenced yard, as he isn`t comfortable walking on leash or being leashed. He is not fully potty trained but does well with potty pads at this time. He may continue to improve with those skills if he is to be on a consistent potty routine. New people make him nervous and scared, so he will need a few meet and greets to build confidence and trust.We`re not aware of how he responds to dogs outside of the dogs he has previously lived with, so any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly and thoughtfully. He can be bossy, so even a home without other dogs would be okay too.If you are looking for a low-key companion and are open to letting him settle in at his own pace, this little guy might be it.
