chief

We desperately need your help. We rescued chief, aka. king, #a5163202 from the castaic shelter almost 3 years ago. Chief is a neutered 9-year-old blue-nose pitbull. Super friendly with adults. But he has to be the only dog. We rescued him from the shelter where he was surrendered after he got in a tiff with the other dog in the house on the first day he was adopted. Clearly his previous owner did not follow the 3-3-3 rule. Since he's been adopted, he's been the only dog. He is housebroken and loves to be a couched potato. The adopter is having a baby in less than three weeks, and we have to find other arrangements for him asap! His current owner was ready to take him to the shelter, and we stopped that We must help her find him a home. We can't take him at our sanctuary. His person is very upset about having to do this, but she said that he didn't do well around small children. she also said he is super lovable and loves to be pet all he can. He walks well on leash and is crate trained and potty trained. He would be ok in a home with older kids, or with any dog loving people. He is playful and affectionate. He is up to date with vaccines. He is mildly allergic to chicken so he is on a salmon protein diet. He has skin allergies so he is on

multivitamin called “dog is human” that helps with his allergies. Golden years dog sanctuary is willing to pay for all medical care related to his skin allergies. We can't fail this dog!! if we don't find him a home, the only options are boarding or the shelter. He's not going back to the shelter, which means he'd go to boarding. It would still put him in a cage. We don't pull dogs out of the shelters to put them back in cages. Somebody please step up and foster or adopt today
