ellie mae

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Ellie May! At 13 years young and just 12 pounds, Ellie May is a tiny little lady with a whole lot of love to give! She's the resident mother hen at the rescue, always happy to play with, cuddle, and keep an eye on the puppies—even though they're not her own! She's got a natural nurturing side and seems to enjoy being the honorary grandma of the bunch. ❤️ When she's not busy keeping the puppies company, Ellie May is perfectly content to kick back and enjoy the good life. She's a true lazy old lady who appreciates the finer things, especially cozy naps, cuddles, and FOOD! She's definitely food motivated, so treats are a great way to win her heart. Ellie May can be a little particular about the men in her life, so she'd do best with someone who understands her boundaries and gives her time to warm up. Ellie Mae is one of 14 terrier mixes Hunter's Village Rescue welcomed from a heartbreaking hoarding case involving 85 dogs in Lake County. While we don't know everything about her past, we do know that this sweet little Rat Terrier is learning what it means to feel safe, loved, and cherished. If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing senior companion who has perfected the art of lounging, snuggling, and enjoying life at her own pace, Ellie May might just be your girl! She's spent her golden years being everyone's honorary mama. Now it's her turn to be someone's baby! Her adoption donation is $125 and includes vaccines, microchip and spay.
