Meet gaucho the wire terrier
ARRIVING IN WISCONSIN on Wednesday November 4th-
Introducing Gaucho, a handsome 2 year old mixed breed male dog who weighs about 39 pounds. He is fully grown, and will not get much larger.
Gaucho found himself in a tough situation when he was picked up by animal control in rural Texas and brought to the shelter. He waited for his family to come claim him, but they never came. Gaucho is super sweet and friendly and is a shelter volunteer favorite due to his kind personality. He walks well on a leash.
Health & Vetting:
Gaucho is neutered, tested heartworm negative, is up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. He will come with medical records and a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian confirming good health prior to transport. He will be current on Flea and Heartworm prevention upon adoption.
Adoption Details:
He will arrive in Muskego, WI on Wednesday, November 4th. He will be available to meet (and go home if it is a good fit) to the first family who has placed a deposit to hold him exclusively for them prior to arrival. Dogs that do not receive a deposit prior to transport will be available to meet at our upcoming adoption events or by appointment with his foster family, no deposit required.
Adoption Fee: $500
Deposit: $250 (applied toward adoption fee)
The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. If upon meeting, he is not a good fit for your family, the deposit is refundable, so long as you show up for your scheduled meeting. We kindly ask that you are serious about adopting before placing a deposit, as we only accept one per dog.
About Our Rescue:
Adoption fees help cover the cost of care for all of our dogs, including those with significant medical needs.
