Well, howdy there, y'all! I'm Riata, and I'm looking for my very own forever family!

My story started with a heartbreaking chapter. My human passed away, leaving my mama and all six of us puppies behind. Thankfully, we got our chance at a fresh start, and now I'm ready to find the family I've been waiting for!

We think I'm a Border Collie x Australian Shepherd mix, which means I may have inherited some serious smarts along with my good looks. And speaking of looks... have you noticed my gorgeous eyes? I reckon I was born knowing how to work the camera!

I'm a beautiful cowgirl with brains, personality, and plenty of puppy charm. With my Border Collie and Aussie heritage, I'll likely grow into a clever girl who enjoys having a job to do, even if that job is simply keeping you company and making sure you never eat a snack alone!

Mama weighs around 55 pounds, so I'm expected to grow into a medium-sized dog. That means I'll be a great size for adventures, family outings, and finding my favorite spot on the couch. I'm not planning to take up the ENTIRE couch... although I reserve the right to change my mind once I discover how comfy it is!

Like any smart young pup, I'll need a family willing to help me learn the ropes. Training, exercise, mental stimulation, and plenty of opportunities to explore will help me grow into the very best version of myself. Walks, games, adventures, and learning new tricks will keep my clever little brain happy. A girl with my heritage needs more than just a pretty pasture to admire!

But what I really want is a family to call my own. Someone to love me, help me learn about the world, and include me in all the little everyday things that make life special. Whether we're heading out on an adventure or spending a quiet evening at home, I'm ready to be your loyal little sidekick.
