Meet Freddy! This chunky love bug is a little over 3 years old, neutered, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, up to date on monthly preventatives, and completely healthy, ready to find his forever home! As a typical bulldog, he just needs quick daily upkeep, like wiping his nose folds and cleaning his ears. We would prefer that he go to a home with someone who has breed experience and understands their needs.

Freddy is a complete goofball, affectionate shadow, and professional couch potato who follows his favorite people everywhere. He loves snuggling, big hugs, sleeping in the bed with you, watching movies on the couch, and sneaking popcorn if you are not looking. He is a fantastic car ride partner who sits nicely in the passenger seat (though he might try to slide into your lap to look out the window). When he needs to go outside, he patiently and quietly sits by the door. He also loves his kennel; keep the crate door open with a soft blanket inside, and he will happily trot in for day naps and full nights of sleep.

Freddy loves short walks and thrives on dog friendly restaurant patios, where he will lay down, listen to live music, and soak up pets from everyone who walks by. He enjoys playing and gets along with other dogs, but he can push buttons, try to play the boss upon first meeting, and be a bit clingy. He will do best either as an only dog or in a home with dogs that match his energy level.

He is extremely food motivated and must be fed separately from other dogs, as he will finish his meal and immediately make the rounds to eat everyone else's food. All other dog food should be put away before he is out and about, as he thinks he needs all the kibble in the world!

Because of his food motivation, Freddy is best suited for a home with older children, as he might take snacks straight out of little hands. His sudden bursts of zoomies could also accidentally bump into or knock down toddlers. He loves hard chew toys, heavy duty bones, and stuffed Kongs (soft plush toys will be destroyed in minutes).

Freddy is house trained, but he does mark indoors and will need dedicated training to break this habit; male belly wraps are a great tool while he learns. He has not been tested with cats.

He is beautiful, super sweet, and silly, he just needs a patient family with breed experience and a cozy couch to share.
