Meet hugo
Hugo is a sweet cuddly guy, very well trained, medium energy, attuned to pleasing his person, happy to learn more. He experienced medical trauma as a puppy, which causes him to fearfully self protect in specific situations. He is young enough where an experienced, consistent caregiver could help rewire these tendencies to make him safer in a human world.I am willing to transport Hugo to the right home. But the right home must demonstrate competence and commitment to keep building on Hugo's growing sense of inner safety, with training and alertness. Hugo could come with all kinds of equipment, as desired... He has a couple types of muzzles (ie for vet visits or walks in places where an unknown human may reach to pet him). Slip leash. Raised dog bed (for place training). Even an electric collar if desired (new owner must demonstrate ability to use such a tool mindfully).I have reached the limits of my capacity, as a single working parent, to keep training Hugo.Questions welcome 🙏 ♥️
