Meet hugo
Hugo had been a part of our family for 10 years, and we believe he was around 1 when adopted. We've been very grateful to have a sweet dog that has been excellent with our kids.
He has never been aggressive, and fortunately, has always gotten along with our other dog, a pit-mix. Not knowing his backstory, we believe he was abused in some way, because even though he is not aggressive, he is VERY anxious.
Despite trying multiple tactics to cut his chewing behavior of our clothes and shoes, he can't seem to stop. This has cost us more than we're comfortable with, and has been a major stressor. It seems to have gotten worse with age.
We are looking for a family without other dogs, who is attentive, and will show him lots of love and tenderness. He currently has no medical issues and is on no medication.
Despite his anxious behavior, Hugo is a good and loyal dog, and deserves another caring home that will provide love and support for his remaining years.
