Meet Lucky! Lucky is a fun-loving, high-energy French Bulldog who brings a whole lot of personality wherever he goes! This brindle boy loves people and has an enthusiastic way of showing it. Expect happy jumps, playful antics, and a dog who wants to be right in the middle of whatever you're doing. He's a confident, goofy guy who loves to play, and if you have a squeaky toy and a little room to throw it, you've already got one of the keys to his heart!

Fetch is Lucky's favorite game, and he takes his job as ball retriever very seriously. He loves zooming around after his toys and can get so excited that he sometimes needs help remembering to slow down. He's food motivated, too, although his allergies mean he'll need special treats that fit his diet. Lucky has plenty of energy to burn and would love a family who enjoys interactive play, daily enrichment, and continuing to teach him new skills. He's still working on his leash manners so positive, consistent training will help him become an even better adventure buddy.

Lucky loves people, but his enthusiasm and occasional uncertainty around unfamiliar visitors mean he'll do best with someone who can help him navigate new situations calmly. He may bark defensively at people he doesn't know, though he often settles once he has a chance to warm up.



He's also still learning how to feel comfortable around other dogs and can become overwhelmed during introductions. For now, Lucky would likely do best as the only pet in the home, with any future dog introductions handled very carefully by someone experienced. Cats are probably not a good match. A secure, fenced yard would be a big plus for this energetic boy, as he loves to run and can be a flight risk. He's nearly potty trained, but he'll still need a consistent routine and patience as he settles into his new home.

 Finding a home prepared to support his ongoing medical needs will be especially important. He has both skin and suspected food allergies, and the underlying cause is still being investigated. He has some small hairless patches from skin irritation and may need a more extensive allergy workup to determine whether his symptoms are caused by food, environmental triggers, or both. His care includes a prescription hydrolyzed-protein diet, allergy-appropriate treats, regular ear and facial wrinkle cleaning, and ongoing monitoring for itchiness and skin changes. He may also need prescription allergy medication or additional long-term treatment, depending on his veterinary evaluation. L

Lucky is looking for an active, patient family who can appreciate his goofy charm while helping him develop better manners and confidence. He's not necessarily the dog who will quietly watch the world go by from the couch all day. He's the dog who wants to play fetch, make you laugh, and be part of the action.
