Sweet little Boone is ready to leave his past behind and find a family of his very own!

Boone is an adorable Dachshund who is approximately 2 years old and weighs around 25 pounds. He’s a friendly, happy little guy who gets along with everyone he meets! He’s healthy, neutered, and ready to start his new life.

Boone’s story is a sad one, but thankfully, it has a happy ending. He was abandoned at a business along a busy local highway, where he reportedly waited for a week and a half before someone finally picked him up and brought him to safety. We can’t imagine what this little guy went through, waiting day after day for someone to help him. Sadly, no one ever came looking for him.

But that turned out to be Boone’s lucky day because he became part of our rescue, and now we’re determined to find him the wonderful home he deserves!

Despite everything he’s been through, Boone is just as sweet as can be. He’s a lovable little fellow with so much to offer a family.

Boone has already spent enough time waiting for someone to care. Now it’s his turn to be loved and spoiled for the rest of his life!

Boone does chase cat's, so a cat free home might be best.

If you’re looking for a precious little companion, Boone just might be your boy! Please submit an adoption application today and give this sweet fellow the happy ending he’s been waiting for.
