Meet picasso
This 2-year-old, 20-lb Poodle mix is a gentle, lovable sweetheart. Picasso was surrendered to a local shelter with a fractured femur. He underwent surgery to repair the fracture and began his healing journey in the shelter. However, due to ongoing complications, his back leg was ultimately removed to give him a pain-free life, and now he’s a super cool tripod!
Despite everything he’s been through, Picasso is not letting anything slow him down, and he’s ready for his fresh start. This sweet boy is very affectionate and loves to cuddle up with his favorite people. He can be a bit shy when meeting new friends, but he always greets them with a wag of his tail and does well with proper introductions. He has also done well meeting other dogs and loves to play. Picasso is fully potty-trained, does well in his crate, and walks well on a leash. He will thrive with adopters who will allow him to open up at his own pace and will provide him with the care and comfort he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving best friend, Picasso could be your guy.
